Turn the display of entities on and off in the modeling window.
Show, Hide, and Isolate Using Context Menus
Display
control options are available in most context menus. In general, the options are
dependent on whether or not there is a selection.
Note: Hiding solids or surfaces in the
modeling window does not update the visibility status of
surface and solid bodies in the Part Browser. Surfaces/solids
and surface/solid bodies are not the same entity.
Hide
Hides selected entities.
Show
Shows selected entities.
Show All
Shows all entities of the same type as the entity selector.
Show Adjacent
Shows the entities adjacent to your selection.
Show Selected
Show selected entities that are hidden.
Isolate
Isolates selection and turns off the display of all other entities,
regardless of type.
Reverse Displayed
Reverses the display of the entity type in the entity selector.
Reverse Visibility
Reverses the display of the selected entities (Part Browser only).
Show and Hide in Browsers Using Icons
Left-click on an entity's icon in a browser to switch between showing or
hiding the entity. When an entity is hidden, it appears grayed out in the
browser.

Restriction: Only available in the aerodynamics and
aeroacoustics setup environment.
Select entities.
In the Property Editor, toggle the Visible option to turn the display of
the entities on and off.
Show, Hide, and Isolate Using the Show/Hide Tool
Restriction: This tool is only available in the
aerodynamics and aeroacoustics setup environment.
Activate the Show/Hide tool on the View Controls toolbar.
Alternatively, press D to open the tool
in Parts mode, or Shift+D to open in Faced mode.
Use the drop-down menu to select the entity type to consider.
Select entities to show or hide.
Hide entities by left-clicking. Hiding
entities adds them to the selection. Click the Isolate button to isolate the
selection.
Show entities by holding Shift while left-clicking. Press A
to show all parts and Shift+A to show all faces.Figure 2.
