Fatigue Analysis Overview
Fatigue Analysis is intended for solutions to structures in a large number of loading cycles.
Setup Analysis
Set up your model for analysis.
- Fatigue Modules
  Use the fatigue tools to determine the type of fatigue analysis that the model will undergo.
- Materials
  Use the Material tool to associate predefined or user-generated materials with the model's parts and sets.
  - Assign Materials to Parts
    Assign pre-existing or user-generated materials to the model's parts, components, and element/node sets.
  - Create Materials
    Create new materials and define their properties.
  - Edit FKM Mean Stress Correction
    This feature allows you to edit the four slopes of the Haigh diagram.
  - Edit Surface Finish and Treatment
    Choose a surface finish and surface treatment method or input a user-defined value.
  - Edit Temperature Factor
    Select a temperature factor and define its properties.
  - Delete Materials
    Remove materials that you have created.
  - Import and Export Material Databases
    Save or load a list of created materials.
  - Exclude Sets from Fatigue Calculation
    In addition to assigning sets, you can also specify which sets to exclude from the fatigue calculation.
- Load Maps
  Use the Load Map tool to import/create multiple channels (load histories) which are then paired with subcases/loadsteps to create the fatigue events.
Evaluate
Run the model and view results.

Create, open, import, and save models.

Explore additional post-processing options related to the input result files.

Click to export any created materials as a .xml database.
Click to import a .csv/.xml material database.
