Batch Create Module

Use Batch Create Module to create assembly hierarchy and assign ID ranges to the modules from external .csv files.

It is also possible to assign ID ranges manually. It shows the detailed summary of module ID ranges in terms of assignment, validity and conflicts.
  1. Right-click a module in the Assembly Browser and select Batch Create Module to open the dialog.

  1. Click Import to open the Import modules and id ranges dialog.
  2. Load a .csv file that has assembly hierarchy and ID assignment definition.
  3. Select the modules and click OK to create modules in hierarchy and assign ID ranges.
All of the modules and corresponding ID ranges are populated on the left hand side. Use the Assign arrow to create the modules and assign ID ranges. You can also unassign the ID range by clicking the Unassign arrow.

Assignment, Validity and Conflicts Status of Module ID Ranges

The detailed summary of module ID ranges in terms of assignment, validity and conflicts is shown in the ID Manager with color coding. ID ranges for the modules can be exported in external .csv files using the Export button. The assigned ID ranges for modules can be modified/changed using the Edit icon. It is possible to visualize all modules in an assembly or only child modules with representation files. There are also options to view Open and Open+ ranges.
