Import materials directly from the Altair Material Data Center (AMDC).
From the Material Browser, right-click an empty area and
select Library > Load > from AMDC from the context menu.
The Altair Material Data Center dialog opens which
displays available materials in the AMDC.
Note: The materials shown are
dependent on the current solver profile. For instance, if you are in the
OptiStruct solver profile, only OptiStruct materials will be visible. To view all
materials, deselect the OptiStruct filter.Figure 1.
Access additional options within the desired material.
Click Details in the bottom left corner to view
additional information about the material.
Click Share in the bottom right corner to share
the material by copying it to your clipboard or sending it in an
email.
Click to add the material to
your favorites where it can be easily retrieved.
Select the checkbox of multiple materials to compare.

Select a material name to open a new window to learn more about the material,
select units and material ID, and download the material.

Note: To access AMDC information for the material again or find similar
materials, right-click the desired material in the Material Browser and select Library > Load > from AMDC from the context menu.
