- Contents and Content Definition
  Content refers to any information stored in a library. Content Definitions encapsulate information about the types of information managed by the HyperMesh libraries.
- Open the Organize Browser
  Use the Organize browser to organize your data.
- Open the Explore Dialog
  The Explore dialog provides enhanced capabilities for searching for and retrieving data, beyond what is provided from typical file browse dialogs.
- Add Subscribed Parts
  Use the Subscribe dialog to register or subscribe to parts or items of interest that reside within a corporate PDM system. Once the parts have been subscribed to, the dialog helps to ensure that you are working with the latest information by allowing you to quickly check whether any subscribed to parts have been updated, and to seamlessly retrieve updated information and files for those that have.

    Once you have searched for or browsed for the material(s) of interest, they can be seamlessly imported into the session for use in your models and simulations.

Add Contents to Material Library in Bulk

To add contents to the library in bulk, use the Add Folders and Files feature.

Select the folder, for example the root folder in your Material Library, under which you want to add the new contents, and select the Add Files and Folders context menu.
Click the Add Folder icon.
Browse to and select the folder to be added. For example, browse to and select MaterialLibraryFiles located in ALTAIR_HOME/demos/hwct, where ALTAIR_HOME points to your installation.
Click OK.
The folder path is added to the list of folders.
Click OK in the Add Files/Folders dialog.
The files contained within the selected folder and its subfolders are added to the Material Library.
Note: This process may take several seconds as each file is parsed and its individual properties are extracted and stored as metadata and indexed.
