- Contents and Content Definition
  Content refers to any information stored in a library. Content Definitions encapsulate information about the types of information managed by the HyperMesh libraries.
- Open the Organize Browser
  Use the Organize browser to organize your data.
- Open the Explore Dialog
  The Explore dialog provides enhanced capabilities for searching for and retrieving data, beyond what is provided from typical file browse dialogs.
  - Select a Repository
  - Manage Repositories
    Additional repositories, also known as data stores, can be added so that information stored in other locations, such as material databases or corporate PLM systems, can be retrieved directly from within the HyperMesh environment.
  - Index a Folder
    Folders and files can be added to libraries.
  - Publish Contents From the Manage Button
    Use the Manage button to directly save or check in contents and files to libraries, without the need to save the file first and then publish it to a library separately.
  - Teamcenter Connector
    An out-of-the-box Teamcenter Connector is available and can be used to connect to existing Teamcenter instances, if available, query for and retrieve CAD files, directly into HyperMesh. It can also be used to publish simulation files back into Teamcenter.

    An out-of-the-box Windchill Connector is available. It can be used to connect to existing Windchill instances, if available, query for and retrieve CAD files directly into HyperMesh.

      Outlines the configuration steps for HyperMesh Windchill configuration for Shibboleth SSO. You will learn to do ECP (Enhanced Client or Proxy) configuration, which in turn allows HyperMesh to communicate with Windchill using SSO layer.

    An out-of-the-box Total Materia Connector is available and can be used to connect to existing Total Materia instances, if available, query for and retrieve material data directly into HyperMesh.
  - SDM Connector
    An out-of-the-box SDM Connector is available and can be used to connect to existing SDM instances, if available, to query for and retrieve files, directly into HyperMesh. Additionally, it can be used to publish simulation files back into SDM.
- Add Subscribed Parts
  Use the Subscribe dialog to register or subscribe to parts or items of interest that reside within a corporate PDM system. Once the parts have been subscribed to, the dialog helps to ensure that you are working with the latest information by allowing you to quickly check whether any subscribed to parts have been updated, and to seamlessly retrieve updated information and files for those that have.
- Add MotionView Models into the Library
  MotionView supports a limited version of interface with Collaboration Tools.
- Material Library
  Collaboration Tools comes with an out-of-the-box profile, which is tailored specifically for organizing and managing material information and data.

Configure Windchill Connector

The Windchill Connector requires a simple one-time configuration within Windchill before it will be ready for use. Windchill Webjects, the standard way for communication between third party integrations and Windchill, need to be added to the Windchill server. The configuration requires administrative access to Windchill.

Windchill Connector can also be used to publish simulation files back into Windchill. To create the Webjects, follow the steps below.

Copy the webject tasks from the webjects folder in the installation to the /tasks/ext folder under the Windchill installation.
For example, the webjects can be found in C:\Program Files\Altair\<version>\hwdesktop\javaapps\win64\pdmconnector_server\webjects, and the Windchill server location would be similar to C:\ptc\Windchill_10.0\Windchill\tasks\ext.
Login to Windchill as Administrator.
From Windchill home, expand the Navigator.
Click the Site button in the Browse tab.
Click Utilities > System Administration > Task Delegate Administration.
Log on.
Base URI is automatically populated by Windchill. LDAP Server Administrator is customer specific. Password is also customer specific.
Go to Create Delegate.
Create the following delegates.
