Align Midmesh
Use the Midmesh: Align tool to align the midmesh.

From the 2D ribbon, click the tool.
- Optional:
On the guide bar, click to define alignment
options.
- Offset
- Align elements or FE geometry surfaces using Guide A at specified distance.
- Lock boundary nodes
- Align elements or FE geometry surfaces without moving the boundary nodes.

Align midmesh.
To align Do this Elements to surfaces - Set the Source selector to Elements.
- Select 2D elements to align to the guide surface(s).
- Use the Guide A selector to select the first surface to align to.
- Optional: use the Guide
B selector to select second surface to align
to.Note: Guide B is used to align FE surface(s) between two sets of faces.
- Click Align.
FE geometry surfaces to surfaces - Set the Source selector to Surfaces.
- Select the FE surface(s) to align to the guide surface(s).
- Use the Guide A selector to select the first surface to align to.
- Optional: Use the Guide
B selector to select second surface to align
to.Note: Guide B is used to align FE surface(s) between two sets of faces.
- Click Align.
FE geometry edges to lines - Set the Source selector to Lines.
- Select FE geometry edges to align to the guide line(s) or guide surface(s).
- Use the Guide A selector to select the first line to align to.
- Optional: Use the Guide
B selector to select second line to align
to.Note: Guide B is used to align between two sets of edges.
- Optional: Set the Guide A selector to Surfaces to align T-edges to surfaces.
- Click Align.
Nodes to lines - Set the Source selector to Node List.
- Select nodes to align to the guide line(s).
- Use the Guide A selector to select the first line to align to.
- Optional: use the Guide
B selector to select second line to align
to.Note: Guide B is used to align between two sets of edges.
- Click Align.
