Create Parameter Inputs

Use the Parameters tool to create size design variables by converting existing parameters.

  1. From the Design Explorer ribbon, click the Parameters tool.

  2. On the guide bar, click .
    The Advanced Selection dialog opens.
  3. Select parameters in the dialog then click OK.
  4. In the microdialog, select how you would like to define the input values.
  5. Complete one of the following tasks:
    • Specify the lower and upper bounds.
    • Specify a list of valid discrete values.
  6. Click Create.
