FE Geometry
FE geometry is topology on top of mesh, meaning CAD and mesh exist as a single entity. The purpose of FE geometry is to add vertices, edges, surfaces, and solids on FE models which have no CAD geometry.

    - Clip
      The bolt (metal clip) creates elements, systems, and configurable body elements that connect a clip location.
    - Cylinder

Restriction: Available in Abaqus, Nastran, and OptiStruct.

A thread length can be defined to define the dimensions of the rigid elements connecting the bolt shaft models as a bar.
