Entities and Solver Interfaces
A solver interface is made up of a template and a FE-input reader.
Browsers
Browsers provide a structured view of model data, which you can use to review, modify, create, and manage the contents of a model. In addition to visualization, browsers offer features like search, filtering, and sorting, which enhance your ability to navigate and interact with the model data.

FE Geometry

CFD Ensight Reader Options

The Reader Options dialog partially creates an environment variable in the background. If such a variable is already set, the dialog will read the variable while opening.

In the Reader field, select CFD Ensight Reader. Then, from the drop down menu on the right, select either SC/Tetra ensight files option (to import result files exported from SC/Tetra in ensight format) or the CFD ensight files option (to import result files exported from other solvers, excluding SC/Tetra, in Ensight format).

Element types supported by the CFD Ensight Reader include:

SC/Tetra

To read SC/Tetra ensight files into hvtrans, the environment variable

ALTAIR_ENSIGHT_FORMAT has to be set to SC/TETRA.

Note: Contour plotting for streamlines based on element bound results is currently not supported (e.g. PowerFlow, OpenFoam).
