Connect Design Spaces to Structures with Tie Contacts
Design spaces can also be connected to structural elements using tie-based contacts.
Before you begin, you must have created at least one design space.

From the Design Space ribbon, click the
Tie tool.

- Optional:
On the guide bar, click
to define vicinity tolerance and reverse angle options.
By default, they are set the same as in the Adhesives tool. - Select the design space to attach.

Click
to generate Tie contacts.
Note: The Tie tool generates contacts only between the selected design space and nearby structural elements.Figure 2. Adhesive Design Space
